The original is split into Low, Mid, High and only applies the distortiion to the mid channel. The transient knob also can emphasise or de-emphasise the transients, and I don't personally use the boom much or at all, so I just left it out.

ok so, as seen in the <#121395249003233280> channel, ive been trying to re-create Abletons Drum Buss. In the end I partially gave up trying to faithfully recreate the transfer curves for the distortion, and modeled my patch from Polarity's Drum Buss recreation. There are some slight differences that I think align a little close to abletons version, such as the multi-band split, the bi-polar transient knob, among other tiny changes. I left out the boom, since I personally don't really use it much anyway. Shoutouts to Polarity for the original version, I did grab a handful of his settings for this one as well for full transparency.

I don't know if it can be helpful for someone but I am creating some chain presets to control my external hardware synths so I can add modulators faster and easier. This preset is created on Bitwig 4.2 beta 3, so probably it won't work with previous versions. I thought it was a nice idea to share the link for download. Gaster from Undertale Brainless Control: - it is designed to be used with default settings only Some other parameters: - "Repitch" should be used only initialy to reproduce original samples as much as possible. Disabling it changes samplers mode to "Cycles" mode which sounds less sharper but gives adventage of formant manipulation capability. - Use "Tune" parameter to tune all samples into the closest note (F3), after full tuning, you can "tune everything to C" with one buuton. - Turn "Speed" parameter down to zero (or enable "Freeze") to achieve static and stable sound, useful in "Cycles" mode (by disabling "Repitch"). There are other parameters available that makes use of modulating "Speed" with "Random" modulator, and other that can freeze playhead and modulate it with another "Random" modulator. Just play with exposed parameters Note: snd_wngdng6 contains noise-like sound without tonality, so during tuning (above 50% value) it is being replaced by snd_wngdng2 sound.

You can use LFOTool as a MSEG Modulator in Bitwig. * Put a DC Offset(1.00) before LFOTool and modulate the "Volume" in LFOTool * Mute this signal (We dont want the DC Offset audio output) * Put the Audio Rate Modulator in a new Chain who will use the "MSEG" Modulator * Group DC Offset, LFOTool and Mute Signal if you want the Midi Signal. Edit the LFOTool and Enjoy! I made a preset with this routes, just remove from Chain.
