Processing in The Grid is sample accurate. This is especially useful when working with steep modulation envelopes, like with transients. Envelope modules outside of The Grid also have a minimum attack time of 1ms, which makes them unsuitable for razor sharp editing. This patch allows very accurate isolation of a fragment of the incoming signal for separate processing. The dry and wet signal are separated in an FX layer nested in Post FX.
All essential controls are mapped to a remote page.
Here's a sample accurate signal splitter I use for FX processing on specific fragments of (in my case kicks) the incoming signal. Envelopes outside of the grid have a minimum attack time of 1 ms and especially when working with fast transients, accuracy becomes important.
